Varieties B. Desmarais is a family business that opened nearly 100 years
ago. The Desmarais family started the business at the current address. Some
owners have succeeded since then and Eric Martel, who acquired it in November
1992, is still in position.

 

The general store vocation, 5-10-15 cents, has persisted for many years. In
1999, the store underwent a first transformation, with the complete redesign of
the sales area configuration, as well as the addition of a center of color
copies and impressions.

 

Most recently, other major changes were made. Indeed, since the company
needed a second wind, updating was necessary in order to continue offering a
warm shopping experience. Ceiling, lighting, floor, and various interior works
are undertaken, followed closely by a complete refurbishment of the facade of
the building. And finally, in order to reflect the new image of the company,
Variétés B. Desmarais will now bear the name of Desmarais.

 

In addition to offering a new environment, the company can count on a team
of dynamic and motivated employees. In an effort to maintain high-quality
customer service, and with the team's enthusiasm for the new image, customer
service training was offered to them.

two specializations, reflecting the needs of our customers. School and
